This past weekend was truly outstanding. I had such an incredible experience Saturday morning when I was a guest lecturer for Columbia University’s graduate fundraising class. I told them about how we, as grantmakers, review organizations and make our decisions on which programs to support. My point of view is a bit different from most other grantmakers because I am only 15 years old. My influences and a perspective is not the same as an adult. I really enjoyed sharing my experiences with the class.
I would like to thanks Professor Robert Wahlers for giving me this opportunity. I also want to thank the class. Thank you so much for listening to me and for asking such insightful questions. Lots of you had great ideas for the future of Kid’s Corner. It was great to help conclude your course and I wish you much success in your future!
