6,000 More Books for BoB

Yesterday was such a great day because I got to drop off 6,000 books to the Bridge of Books Foundation (BoB). I have been doing this book drive for three years now and in all I have collected 15,000 books for underprivileged children! I also sorted all of these books based on children’s ages.

This year I enlisted some help from my friends. In addition, Kid’s Corner  donated $5,000 to BoB to boost the impact. I presented the check to Valerie Bret, volunteer coordinator at BoB. As you may know from my previous blog posts, Abby Daly is the founder of this wonderful foundation, but could not be with us on the drop-off day. But, I am sure she is thrilled with the results!

As we get ready for the start of another school year, it’s a great feeling knowing that more kids throughout New Jersey will have access to books this year. It has been great to work with BoB  and I look forward to working with them again.
